hi! yes, and when we discussed our ages it was a cause for concern for me, too, and i did tell them of my intentions to leave. but we discussed it thoroughly, and with their approval i took on a character much older than the other characters, and i've since been able to support them with abuse they've received online, plus internal group concerns. i've taken on a sort of 'safeguarding' role with them, and i have informed them that if ever they become uncomfortable with my presence, i will take my leave of the group immediately and without fuss. i also keep my interactions with them on twitter/discord, and they have other group chats where i am not present, plus i make sure to never message them privately without their consent. i am very aware of the power imbalance, but i do work and interact with people their age in my day job, and i do have a recent and valid DBS certificate ;) i hope that clears any of your concerns but, if not, i am willing to discuss this further.
i was their age when i first watched the show and it's been an absolute wonder to see the love i have for the show echoed in the next generation.
